$975,000 for Nerve Injury During Knee Surgery

William O. Crutchlow of Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP with offices in Edison, New Jersey and Toms River, New Jersey recently settled a case on behalf of a woman who sustained a nerve injury during knee surgery to repair torn ligaments. The nerve injury led to the permanent reduction of function and sensation in her lower leg and foot. We worked with experts in orthopedics and peripheral neurology to establish improper surgical technique that had led to the nerve injury and the consequences of the injury.  This case was settled on behalf of the attending orthopedic surgeon.
