Court Approves $12 Million Settlement in Med Mal Case Over Fatal Allergic Reaction That Results in $21 Million Total Recovery
On March 8, 2023, the Monmouth County Superior Court approved a $12 million settlement in Estate of Gago v. Monmouth Medical Center. David Gago, 35, died in the emergency department of Monmouth Medical Center after having a fatal allergic reaction. With a portion of the recovery used to purchase annuities, the total value of the recovery exceeds $21 million.

Daryl L. Zaslow, shareholder with Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP, has recently been recognized by The New Jersey Law Journal in its “NJ Law 2021 Annual Edition” as having obtained 2 of the top 4 Personal Injury recoveries in New Jersey in 2021. Mr. Zaslow was the only attorney in New Jersey who had more than one of the Top 10 recoveries in 2021.
Facebook’s $90M Settlement for Privacy Trackers Is Approved
A $90 million settlement for a lawsuit filed against Facebook has been approved by Judge Edward J. Davila of the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Barry R. Eichen, shareholder at Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP, served on the science committee, along with Billy Murphy of Baltimore’s Murphy Falcone.
$3,700,000 Verdict for Stairway Fall Linked to Brain Injury
Barry Eichen, Shareholder with Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP obtained a $3.7M verdict on behalf of a man with Down syndrome who suffered a brain injury after he fell on a defective stairway. $1,250,000 Settlement for Motorcyclist Whose Leg Had to Be Amputated
Barry Eichen, Shareholder with Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP, has secured a $1.25 million settlement on behalf of a motorcycle rider who was struck by a minivan. The client’s leg was amputated as a result of his injuries from the crash. We invite you to read more about the case here.
$6,000,000 Settlement for Healthcare Negligence in 2021
